It began with a trip back to my hometown. When I arrived, things hadn't changed much. The old house on Lelia Drive where I got my first guitar and began to play was still old. The street sign was weather beaten and unchanged. I even ran into a childhood friend, and except for height and a few signs of time spent on this planet, he looked the same.
The pictures I took became the artwork for the upcoming 2016 summer release. Originally, I was going to call it Origins, but I chose to rename it Lelia Drive in honor of that pivotal point in my history where I found my passion, my gift from God.
Now the first track is almost written, and nine others have been selected for my second instrumental rock guitar CD.
Not bad for a poor boy from Lelia Drive.
